ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce 1920s United States Navy pilot wing by H&H in Oroid, a proprietary metallic mix of that company that is very resistant to tarnishing. The wing shows an anchor at its center bearing a striped crest.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" height and 2-3/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Oroid.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

H&H maker's mark and OROID.
