ARTIFACT: This is a scarce 1920s United States Navy pilot wing by Meyer in Meyer Metal, a proprietary metallic mix of that company that is very resistant to tarnishing. The wing shows an anchor at its center bearing a striped crest.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" height and 2-11/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Meyer Metal.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: Meyer maker's mark and MEYER METAL; SONNY(?) scratched on reverse.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The wing shows light wear and tarnish.
