Scarce 1920s US Navy Pilot Wing by Meyer in Meyer Metal

This is a scarce 1920s United States Navy pilot wing by Meyer in Meyer Metal, a proprietary metallic mix of that company that is very resistant to tarnishing. The wing shows an anchor at its center bearing a striped crest.

Circa 1920s.

Approximately 7/8" height and 2-11/16" width.

Meyer Metal.

Horizontal pin with C catch.

Meyer maker's mark and MEYER METAL; SONNY(?) scratched on reverse.
