ARTIFACT: Scarce, circa 1960 United States Marine Corps Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 24 (H&MS-24) jacket patch. United States made, fully embroidered. As worn during the Cuban Missile Crisis in November 1962. The HM&S-24 provided aviation logistics support, guidance, planning and direction.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960

SIZE: Approximately 3 ¾" round

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in silk.
