NOTE: All of these USN patches being listed on consignment with consignor code CON-DSS come from the lifelong collection of a retired Vietnam War USN Pilot who had close times with the Tailhook Association and was able to obtain some very special and unique patches. We are proud to have been given the opportunity to bring parts of this collection to market. We will be listing 25 or so now, and hope to have another offering in April or May.    

This is a Scarce circa 1946 - 1948 US Navy VF-5A Fighting Five Able Jacket Patch Embroidered on Twill.

VINTAGE: Circa 1946 - 1948.

SIZE: Approximately 5" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully-Embroidered Silk on twill, gauze backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of Aviation squadron, group, patches that we will be putting over the next few months. CON-DSS-23 LFGEX02/02/23

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Patch shows light wear on front, and moderate wear on back.
