Description
This is Scarce circa 1940 Bell Aircraft Employee Lapel Pin in Sterling by Whitehead & Hoag. Bell was an aircraft manufacturer, founded in 1935, most notable for the Bell X-1, the first supersonic aircraft. The company also provided a variety of fighter aircraft during WWII. The lapel pin is enameled brass and reads: "BELL AIR CRAFT".

SIZE:Approximately 5/16" in height x 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass and enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.

CONDITION:6 (Fine):The pin shows moderate wear, but all the enamel detail is remain intact. Overall, fine condition.
