ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s or World War II lapel pin for Hamilton Standard Propellers. The company was created by the merger of Hamilton Aero Manufacturing and Standard Steel Propeller in 1929, and at the time was the biggest aircraft propeller maker anywhere. The oval pin is in sterling silver with orange enamel and was made by Whitehead & Hoag.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s - World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 7/16” in height and 11/16” in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: Sterling WH (Whitehead & Hoag maker mark).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII era aircraft parts manufacturer collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDX13 LFJX4/14 SFJX05/12/25

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin has only very little wear/tarnish.
