This is a scarce first-type shoulder patch for the United States Army 442nd Regimental Combat Team, a unit made up exclusively of first-generation Americans born to Japanese immigrants. The patch is round and shows a golden forearm hoisting up a sword. A Beautiful example.
VINTAGE:World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads. ATTACHMENT: None.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
