Scarce 1950's Massachusetts Certified Nurse's Aide Lapel Pin by Balfour in Sterling and 10K

Scarce 1950's Massachusetts 10K Certified Nurse's Aide lapel pin by Balfour. This lovely gold fill and light pink enamel pin displays the Massachusetts State Seal in the center and beneath it reads: "CERTIFIED NURSE'S AIDE". The reverse shows the original owner's initials: "R. L. S." and a nice maker's mark: "LGB 1/10 10K"

Gold fill, sterling, enamel

Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch and loop.

8- (Very Fine - Excellent): Lapel pin shows minor to moderate wear mostly to reverse, much of the gold fill and enamel details remain. Images shows hard tarnish on the edge in front and revers, but "tarnish" is not recognizerble on front and "light" tarnish on revers, overall it is much better look in person. Beautiful Pin!
