This is a service lapel pin from Mohawk Airlines by Balfour. Begun as Robinson Airlines, the company had a name change to Mohawk in 1952, and was later absorbed into Allegheny Airlines in 197The pin is a Native American in profile with his headdress out behind him like a wing.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/8" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:LGB (Balfour mark) 1/10 10K GF.
