Description
This is a circa late 1960s service lapel pin from Mohawk Airlines. Begun as Robinson Airlines, the company had a name change to Mohawk in 1952, and was later absorbed into Allegheny Airlines in 197The pin is by Balfour, and is a Native American in profile with his headdress out behind him like a wing.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/8" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:B (Balfour) mark 1/10 10K GF on reverse of pin; L. G. BALFOUR on backing.
