Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce circa 1945-1947 Czechoslovakian Air Force field pilot badge in .800 silver. The badge is by Provaznik and is marked and numbered on reverse. The design of the badge is a winged sword wreathed by laurels. The sword has a lion rampant, the Czech coat of arms, near its guard.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1945-1947.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

.800 silver.

ATTACHMENT:

One prong (two are missing).

MARKINGS:

54 III 1101; 800 FP 5 within triangle.
