Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce circa 1939 Czechoslovakian Air Force field pilot badge. The badge is by Provaznik and has no silver content on reverse. The design of the badge is a winged sword wreathed by laurels. The sword has a lion rampant, the Czech coat of arms, near its guard.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1939.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

.800 silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Three prongs.
