ARTIFACT: Scarce 1943 Japanese War Worker 'Yearbook' from Japanese International Aviation Industry factory school for aviation trades. The front of the book shows an aircraft and below Japanese kanji. The 74 pages show photographs of workers, many images of students learning aviation trade skills, and those that depict life at the school. Towards the back, there are a number of class photos and color examples of artwork done by members of the school.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943

SIZE: Approximately 11-5/8 x 8-3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Magazine print, ink, staples, glue, colored pencil

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding

MARKINGS: Japanese kanji, red handwritten colored pencil markings and translations, "JOHN" on the reverse written in pencil.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Japanese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX16 LHEX2/16 SFDX4/16

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The yearbook shows moderate to heavy wear, minor separation of one or two pages from the binding, hand-written red color pencil throughout, the binding and edges show heavy wear, nearly all the pages are intact, overall very fine condition.
