This is a scarce Korean War era United States Air Force 5th Air Force fully embroidered shoulder patch. The patch is Japanese-made and shows a shooting star passing a number 5.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War (early 1950s).
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads, twill backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
