Scarce WWII Japanese Officer Pilot Wing

This is a scarce Japanese World War II officer pilot wing. The wing shows a wreathed star and propeller flanked by a set of plane wings.

Circa World War II.

3-1/4" wing.

Silk-wrapped cardboard embroidered in silk/cotton and tinsel-wire threads with treated paper backing. Star at center is gilt brass.
