Scarce 1930's US Shipping Board (USSB) Officer Bullion Hat Badge

This is a Scarce 1930's United State Shipping Board (USSB) Officer Bullion Hat Badge. The Shipping Board, or War Shipping Board, was a regulatory agency in effect from January 1917 until March 193The badge is embroidered in gold bullion and silk thread and shows a large golden eagle above a red, white and blue shield.

Cotton embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads

Elasticized band.
