Rare 1920s US Shipping Board (USSB) Officer Bullion Hat Badge

This is a rare circa 1920s United States Shipping Board (USSB) officer hat badge on an elasticized band. The Shipping Board, or War Shipping Board, was a regulatory agency in effect from January 1917 until March 193The badge is embroidered in gold bullion and silk thread and shows a large golden eagle above a red, white and blue shield.

Circa 1920s.

Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 22-3/4" in total length.

Wool felt embroidered in silk/bullion thread, elasticized cotton/nylon band.
