This is a scarce circa 1930s Sons of Veterans (S of V) membership lapel pin. The S of V was formed in 1881 by the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) in order for the sons of veterans to be able to carry on their legacy, and the name was later amended to include "Union".
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in height and 7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.
