Rare WWII USAAF 38th Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force Patch on Leather

This is a rare World War II patch for the United States Army Air Forces 38th Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force. The 38th flew P-38 Lightning and P-51 Mustang aircraft, and participated at the Battle of the Bulge, the Holland invasion and the Rhine Crossing. The patch is in painted in green and orange upon leather and shows a winged tomahawk.
