Rare WWII US Army War Dept. Military Intelligence Agent Badge, Case

This is a rare and numbered World War II US Army War Department Military Intelligence agent badge with its original case.

Circa World War II.

Badge: 1-15/16" height and 1-7/16" width; case: 2-1/2" height and 5-1/2" width (open as shown).

Badge is gold-plated brass with enamel lettering and case is leather.

Badge: vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch; snap on case.

C-2379 on reverse of badge; inside of snap reads UNITED CARR (?).

7- (Very Fine-): Badge shows moderate wear with some of the enameled lettering missing and case is quite worn.
