ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II pocket patch for the United States Army 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 17th Airborne Division. The 513th participated in the Battle of the Bulge. The patch is embroidered upon twill and shows and armed cat and a large red "13" at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/silk thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a World War II United States Army shoulder patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCEX14 LGIEX5/14 SGHEX5/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear.
