Rare WWII Luftwaffe 52nd Fighter Wing 2nd Squadron (Jagdgeschwader 52 2-JG52) Badge

This is an enameled World War II badge for the Luftwaffe's Fighter Wing 52 Squadron 2 (Jagdgeschwader 52 2 Staffel). The highest scoring aces of the war, this squadron was present at the Battle of Britain and served on the Eastern Front. The group later became the II Gruppe, JG 5The badge shows a pudgy red devil about to shoot an arrow.

Circa World War II.

Plated brass, enamel.
