This is a rare circa 1942-1943 Luftwaffe Fighter Wing 51 Jagdgeschwader "Molders" insignia badge. Collectively the members of the JG-51 received more of the prestigious Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross than any other Jagdgeschwader. The badge shows an eagle's head and is enameled in black and light blue.

Circa 1942-1943.

Approximately 11/16" in diameter.

Silver-plated brass and enamel.

Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.
