Rare WWII Japanese Officer Private Purchase Canteen by Osaka Aluminum

Rare WWII Japanese Officer Private Purchase Canteen. The painted aluminum canteen features a leather strap, steel buckle carrying harness. The original aluminum and cork stopper with an aluminum screw top cap/cup are intact and the top of the cork stopper reads: "ALUMINUM OSAKA". The lower (viewer's right) corner shows a red, painted letter: "S".
