ARTIFACT: Rare WWII USAAF Air Transport Command (ATC) uniform button. The ATC was set up in 1942 to coordinate all transportation of necessary aircraft, employees, and material within the United States and beyond.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper, brass

ATTACHMENT: Loop/lug

MARKINGS: "SUPERIOR QUALITY"

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The button shows moderate wear, some of the plating details remain intact.
