Description
This is a rare anti-suffrage celluloid pin advocating against the right of a woman to vote in the United States. This right was secured via the 19th amendment, ratified just in time for the 1920 Presidential election. The pin is round with a red dot at center and reads ANTI SUFFRAGE.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1910s - early 1920s.
SIZE:¾" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin with paper backing.
ATTACHMENT:Straight pin.
