ARTIFACT:
Rare, early United States Air Force German-made squadron stein circa 1948-50 53rd Troop Carrier Squadron hand painted lithophane stein for Rhein Main Air Base. Stein depicts the squadron emblem and slogan 'PRIMUS CUM PLURIM', stein is named to Dick, beautiful paint, gold details. The Lithophane is of a shapely female.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1948-50
SIZE:
9 ½" tall 10 ¾" circumference.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Porcelain Lithophane (porcelain impressed with figures that are made distinct by transmitted light), white metal, hand painted.
