This is a rare United States Army Air Forces chenille patch for the 74th Reconnaissance Group. The patch shows an owl flying over the horizon holding a bomb in his talon.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
About 5-1/8" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Blue and brown chenille patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
