This is a rare United States Army Air Forces chenille patch for the 74th Reconnaissance Group. The patch shows an owl flying over the horizon holding a bomb in his talon.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 5-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue and brown chenille patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The patch shows only slight wear.
