Rare Type II WWII Silver Foil Submarine Launch Tag for the USS Spinax SS-489

This is a rare Type III World War II silver foil submarine launch tag for the USS Spinax SS-48The Spinax was a Tench-class submarine and was launched from the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard on November 25, 194She was decommissioned in October 11, 1969.

Circa 1945.

Approximately 2-1/16 in height (excluding 3-5/8" of string) and 1-3/4" in width.

Foiled card stock with silk string.

Punched hole with string.
