Rare, Transitional Circa 1980 United Air Lines Line Pilot Wing 30-34 Years Service

This is a rare and transitional circa 1980 United Air Lines line pilot wing 5th issue. This was for a line pilot with 30 to 34 years of service with the airline. It has four stars in an arc at the top and a diamond chip in a setting beneath the enameled logo. The wing is by Leavens Manufacturing of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Circa 1980.

Approximately 15/16" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

Gilt and nickel-plated brass, enamel, diamond chip.

Two screw posts with disc backings.
