This is a circa 1980 captain or check pilot wing 5th issue for the Flying Tigers Airlines, originally the Flying Tiger Line, which began in 1945 as the first commercial air cargo company in the US and later became a military charter outfit until 198The wing shows the head of a snarling tiger beneath a wreathed star, which denotes pilot status.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980.
SIZE:About 7/8" in height and 3-3/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two clutch-back posts.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent): The wing has very light wear and tarnish.
