Description
This is a rare World War II American Theater Wing badge in sterling silver. The creator of the Tony Award, the group was a part of the World War II Allied Relief Fund which encouraged theatrical education but also supported servicemen and families of veterans. The badge is a wing with a blue mask at center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height and 2-7/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.
