Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an extremely rare circa 1947 Viking Air Lines pilot wing and hat badge. Both are in fine condition and made in enameled sterling silver.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950's

SIZE:

Wing: 3/4" in height x 3-1/8 in length, Hat Badge: 1-3/4" in width x 2-1/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Enameled Sterling Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Wing: Two clutchback pins. Hat Badge: Screw back.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The patina is nice, but the enamel on both pieces are worn in spots, more-so on the wing.
