ARTIFACT: This is a Rare circa 1966 Air America 2nd Issue Large Hat Badge in Enameled & Rhodium Plated Sterling. Originally Worn by USAF Colonel & Air America Pilot Donald Ralph Carver. Badge was made in Japan.

From Donald Ralph Carver biographical grouping: Copy of document is Not included.

VINTAGE: Circa 1966.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-1/2" in height x 2-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled & Rhodium Plated Sterling.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing with one pin. (One is missing)

MARKINGS: STERLING

CONDITION: 8- (Excellent): The wing shows minor wear, and one back support pin is missing, Otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
