Rare Mid 1960's 2nd Issue Large Size Air America Pilot Hat Badge in Sterling

This is a rare mid 1960's 2nd Issue large size Air America Pilot hat badge made in enameled sterling silver. The badge was originally owned and worn by Gordon V. Smith, Pilot of CNAC (China National Aviation Corporation), CAT (Civil Air Transport Inc.), Air America, and ICCS (International Cargo & Corporate Service). This badge is in exceptional condition, as pieces such as this are very prone to having their enamel chipped from use.
