Rare, short-lived, 2002-2008, New Hampshire Highway Patrol Ranking Officer Campaign ("Smokey the Bear") Hat badge by Blackinton. Badge as worn by officers with a rank of Lieutenant and higher, Bureau of Highway Patrol, Department of Safety. Badge is an eagle, wingspread perched above an enameled state seal and painted letters that read HIGHWAY PATROL.

Manufacturer dated 2004.

Gold-plated brass, enamel, and paint.

Single screw back post with stabilizer pin and rubber cap.
