ARTIFACT:
This is a Rare 2004 New Hampshire Highway Patrol Office Badge.
There is very little information out there on the New Hampshire Highway Patrol, because it was a very short-lived Agency. The NHHP was formed in 2002, as a Motor Vehicle Enforcement branch, with some overlap with NH State Police duties and powers, and then absorbed into the NH State Police in 2008, becoming Troop G.
I believe there were only something like 25 members during its short existence, and I believe Major was the highest rank.
VINTAGE:
Circa 2004's.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-1/16" in height x 2" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
HI-GLO (HI-GLO is a base material which has a golden color throughout and requires no surface plating. Highly polished to brilliant luster, a clear coating is then applied to enhance its durability)
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with locking drop-in locking catch.
