ARTIFACT: This is a rare mid-World War II Turkish Air Force pilot badge from Kayseri Air Depot. The badge of a two-piece construction with a hollow body and shows a great flying eagle balancing a crescent moon and one star upon its back.

VINTAGE: Circa mid-World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: SOUVENIR FROM KAYSERI DEPOT printed on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFEJX11 LDGEX5/11 SCGEX9/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some small areas of moderate wear and light tarnishing.
