ARTIFACT:

This is a Soviet Air Force pilot badge. The badge has a winged red star at center with a propeller and two crossed swords.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s Ð early World War II.

SIZE:

2-1/16" height and 3-1/2" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt badge embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton thread with muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.
