This is a World War II-Era Soviet Air Force wreath hat badge. The badge has a red star at center bearing a hammer and sickle and a wreath of gold bullion surrounding it.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's early World War II.
SIZE:2" height and 2-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt badge embroidered in gold bullion thread, with brass and enamel decoration and muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:Brass brad.
MARKINGS:Part of manufacturer tag attached.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Badge is in beautiful shape except for one slight spot of oxidation.
