This is a Rare Late 1930's French Army 31e Bataillon Du Genie 31st Engineer BN Badge in aluminum by A. Augis Jewelry Lyon French Company.
31st Engineer BN: Stationed in North Africa 1922 - 1938.
Participated in Battle of France 1940.
Fought in Italy & France WWII.
VINTAGE:
Late 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately: 2" in height x 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Aluminum with steel pin back.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
