This is a rare Korean War era jacket patch for the United States Air Force 6146th Advisory Group.
Circa Korean War (early 1950s).
SIZE:Approximately 3-3/4" in height and 4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads, twill and wool insets.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The patch shows light wear except for the areas of the mountains eaten by silverfish/moths. These must have been made with the tastiest type of wool... ;-)
