ARTIFACT:
This is a rare, early World War II Nazi Luftwaffe aircraft chronograph taken from an ME-109 fighter plane in North Africa. The chronograph was cleaned and repaired in July 2013. All of the features function, but the chrono button is stiff: it would work better if bolted into an Me-109 as intended!
VINTAGE:
Circa early World War II.
SIZE:
3" in height or 2-5/16" in width and 1-1/2" in depth.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Aluminum, brass and Plexiglass.
ATTACHMENT:
Four holes for screws, twist off backplate.
MARKINGS:
884311 on reverse; J30BZ onside back cover.

CONDITION:
8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The chronograph was cleaned and repaired in July 2013. All features function, but chrono button is stiff: would work better if bolted into an Me-109 as intended! Some signs of moderate scuffing and wear.
