Description
This is an early WWII German Luftwaffe wrist compass.
VINTAGE:Circa early WWII.
SIZE:Compass has 2-7/16" diameter and 13/16" height; length of compass including buckle is approximately 9-1/2".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bakelite compass containing water with leather wristband.
ATTACHMENT:Leather wristband with nickel-plated brass buckle.
MARKINGS:Maker's mark at center of compass: INSTRUMENTENFABRIK PRAG KAOLEC; reverse of compass lists specifications in German (see photo above for close-up).

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Compass and band both have spots of light to medium wear but overall are in wonderful shape.
