Early WWII Luftwaffe Type AK-39 (ArmbandKompass 39) Wrist Compass w/ Original Strap

This is an early World War II German Luftwaffe pilot Type AK-39 (ArmbandKompass 39) wrist compass. It is in excellent condition and comes with its original adjustable strap. This is a second model compass in yellow with black sights on the rim of the bezel. The body contains fluid that allows the dial to rotate and seek its mark. The Luftwaffe supply number for the compass is displayed on the back of the plastic body.

Circa early World War II.

Approximately 7/8" in height and 2-3/8" in diameter; strap is 9" in total length (including buckle).

Bakelite, clear plastic, fluid, leather, nickel-plated brass.

Strap, buckle.
