ARTIFACT:
This is a rare circa early 1950s agent badge, 2nd type for TWA (Trans World Airlines). This badge is in enameled sterling silver and was made by Balfour. The 2nd type badge does not have an arrow beneath the lettering.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:
Approximately 1/2" in height and 1-5/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Enameled sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:
LGB (Balfour maker mark) STERLING.
