This is a rare, early (circa 1880s or early 1890s) "Firemen's Celebration" pin. The center of the pin, which shows the head and shoulders of a fireman, is in celluloid. The frame is ornately wrought in bronze.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s- early 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid, bronze.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin.
MARKINGS:None.
