ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1950s promotional pin for "Reddy Kilowatt", the premier American mascot of electricity since 1926. Reddy was created by Ashton B. Collins, Sr. and was featured in different media, including a movie and a comic strip. The pin is in celluloid and has a union mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: Union mark (very hard to read).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a utilities collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX98 LCIX10/12 SCIX2/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows only some light wear and has one small gap where the celluloid lifted near the bottom.
