Early 1950s Reddy Kilowatt "The Mighty Atom" Promotional Celluloid Pin

This is a circa early 1950s promotional pin for "Reddy Kilowatt", the premier American mascot of electricity since 192Reddy was created by Ashton B. Collins, Sr. and was featured in different media, including a movie and a comic strip. The pin is in celluloid and has a union mark on reverse.

Circa early 1950s.

Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

Straight pin.

Union mark (very hard to read).

7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows only some light wear and has one small gap where the celluloid lifted near the bottom.
