ARTIFACT: This is a cool circa early 1960s or 1970s pin for "Reddy Kilowatt Safety Club". Reddy was the premier American mascot of electricity since 1926, and was created by Ashton B. Collins, Sr. He was featured in different media, including a movie and a comic strip. The pin is in celluloid.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s-1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin with loop catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a veterans' organization collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay12/16/19 VAX14 LACX7/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin has only light wear.
