Description
This is a rare Civil War period 2nd Model pocket revolver made by Bacon Manufacturing Company of Norwich, Connecticut. The top of the barrel bears the maker mark of the company formed by Thomas K. Bacon in 185Only approximately six hundred of Bacon's revolvers were manufactured in this configuration. The revolver has a wooden grip and some decorative engraving on the side plates.
VINTAGE:Circa Civil War.
SIZE:Approximately 9" in length and 3-7/8" in height; barrel length: 4"; outer barrel diameter: 5/8"' inner barrel diameter: 5/16".<.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Steel, wood, plated brass.
